Leddra Chapman at The Enterprise, Camden

Leddra Chapman rounded off a great evening of music with a stunning session last night at The Enterprise, Camden on a Glasswerk promotion which also included sets by the very talented Jake Hall and Will Hanson

Supported by a young and very talented band made up of percussionist, double bass, pianist, violinist and guitarist, Leddras' fans were treated to a host of material from her debut album Telling Tales including Edie, Story and Picking Oranges.

This talented British singer / songwriter is certainly putting the work in at the moment.  As well as gigging around the country promoting her new album, Leddra is also a brand ambassador for Quiksilver as well as studying a the Royal College of Music.

You are going to be seeing a lot more from this young lady if last nights performance was anything to go by and you can get ahead of the pack by visiting www.myspace.com/leddrachapman to see where she is playing near you and following her progress on Twitter (www.twitter.com/leddrachapman)

As a music photographer the biggest buzz is capturing new talent and last night was a pure pleasure, both professionally and musically and it was a rare opportunity to catch this star on the rise.

My favourite shot from last night has to be this one - it just seems right

Kind thanks go to Leddra as well as Sophie at The Enterprise and Pearce at Glasswerk for granting necessary permissions and access.

Your shots are great. I thought she played superbly last night and agree, she is definitley in the ascendancy. She's getting better with every show. I know....i would say that, but i have worked with her for 4 years + now and i know better than anyone how much more she has to offer.

Simon, appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. It is a rare pleasure to meet somebody so talented and yet not overcome by their own PR. She was a pleasure to photograph and to talk to and I sincerely wish her the v. best of luck. If you need / would like access to any of these images, or need any other event covered, then please feel free to get in touch with me directly.
