image courtesy of iStockphotoI am looking to do a 3 - 6 month photo essay based on the activities of a band or solo artist, preferably Medway based, beginning Jan 2010.

Ideally, I want to work with an artist / band who is active and serious about what they are doing and who can answer to all, or at least the majority, of  the following criteria:

• looking to record in a studio in the first half of 2010
• writing at least some of their own material
• performing regularly (at least once per month, preferably more often).  This can be as part of a jam night, dedicated gig or as part of a larger line up
• practice / rehearse regularly - ideally at least once per week
• looking to gain greater exposure in 2010
• not camera shy
• happy to take part in a potentially mutually benefitial speculative project.

Thanks for all the submissions and as a result it looks like I will be working with two Kent-based bands on photographic essay projects during 2010.  Some details still to be confirmed but I will post more details soon.
